Two of Arsenal's best players have returned to full health ahead of their Champions League quarterfinal second leg matchup with Real Madrid.

After winning 3-0 at the Emirates in the first leg, the Gunners will enter the Spanish city with a commanding lead.

The 15-time European champions need an incredible outcome to maintain their championship defence, thus Mikel Arteta's team will be trying to prevent a Real Madrid comeback on Wednesday.

Arteta has been given more defensive options before the game since Arsenal is trying to maintain their lead.

After missing their Premier League tie with Brentford over the weekend, defender Ben White was seen exercising at London Colney on Tuesday.

Despite having an injury scare against Brentford, Thomas Partey seems to be going to Madrid.
Prior to the game, Arteta said that the defender was not risked since he had "felt something" during Friday's practice.

Whether the problem stemmed from the knee ailment that held him out of action for 25 games earlier this season is unknown.

In the 90th minute of the team's 3-0 victory against Madrid, he made his most recent appearance.

On Tuesday, White took Jurrien Timber's position after the Dutch defender had a late injury problem.

Ben White, on the right, has resumed training at Arsenal after his absence from their draw with Brentford.
Thomas Partey, a midfielder who had been out due to an unidentified injury sustained against Brentford, joined him in training.

On minute 69, the midfield player who had given the Gunners the lead with a goal in the second half was replaced.

Arteta said that the 31-year-old "felt something" during the game, but it now seems that he will be going to Madrid for the second leg.

The Gunners, who are missing long-term absentees Kai Havertz, Riccardo Calafiori, Gabriel Jesus, Takehiro Tomiyasu, and Gabriel, will benefit from Partey and White's availability.

The Gunners would play the winner of the match between Aston Villa and PSG in the semi-finals if they were able to stave off a Real Madrid comeback.

PSG will try to finish the job at Villa Park on Tuesday night after leading Aston Villa 3-1 in the first leg.
