Bayern gets defeated by Inter to go to the Champions League semifinals.

At San Siro Stadium, Inter Milan and Bayern Munich drew thrillingly to secure their spot in the Champions League semi-finals.

Harry Kane scored a sharp, low goal early in the second half to erase the Italian champs' 2-1 lead from the first leg.

Inter came alive after that score, and nine minutes later they were leading the game and had total control of the tie.

First, the ball fell pleasantly for Lautaro Martinez from a corner, and he hammered it in from six yards out.

Three minutes later, Hakan Calhanoglu's throw resulted in another corner, this time headed in by defender Benjamin Pavard.

Eric Dier's looping back-post header from a tight angle with 14 minutes left gave Bayern the equaliser, but they didn't give up.

Vincent Kompany's side pushed for a third goal to force extra time, and in the fifth of six added minutes the chance came but Thomas Muller could not direct his header past Inter goalkeeper Yann Sommer.

Josip Stanisic, a Bayern replacement, pushed a ballboy off his seat after he flung the ball away to kill time since tensions were high and time was running out.

Stanisic spoke of his regret post-match: "Every team in the world wastes time when they're leading. I was a little foolish for pushing him there.

Inter advances to play Barcelona in a thrilling last-four match despite the late scare.
