See what Burkina Faso’s Ibraham Traore said To all African countries

Captain Ibrahim Traoré, the head of the Burkina Faso junta, has sent his sincere appreciation to the people and pan-African allies throughout the globe for their support in the nation's continuous struggle against imperialism and neo-colonialism.

Traoré welcomed the international protests in favour of his government's aim of an independent and self-governing Africa in a stirring speech on Wednesday, April 30.

He expressed his sincere gratitude to all of the pan-Africanists and peace-loving patriots who came together on April 30, 2025, to support our resolve to create a new Burkina Faso and a new Africa free from imperialist rule.

He underlined that his government's will to pursue justice and equality is strengthened by the worldwide support.

"Your backing strengthens our conviction that our fight for a more just and equitable world is right," said Traoré.

Reiterating his resolve to resist outside influences, Traoré established himself as a prominent figure in the pan-African revival movement.

"We're not going to give in to hardship. Until our people are really emancipated, we will not back down," he said. "We are certain that defeating the oppressive powers is within our grasp with your help."

"Together, in solidarity, we will defeat imperialism and neo-colonialism—for a free, dignified, and sovereign Africa," he said in closing, urging a unified continental front.
