The accuser, 28-year-old Larissa Natalya Ferrari—a lawyer and devoted fan of Vasco da Gama, the Brazilian club where Payet currently plays—alleges that the abuse took place between September 2024 and March 2025.
According to Larissa's testimony, she endured repeated attacks by the married footballer, who is a father of four. She claimed the relationship subjected her to physical violence, emotional manipulation, psychological torment, and sexual abuse. Larissa provided photographic evidence showing bruises she says resulted from Payet's assaults.
Larissa has formally reported the allegations to the Civil Police of Paraná and the Women’s Assistance Police Station (Deam) in Jacarepaguá, a district in the West Zone of Rio de Janeiro.

“I had asked for two tickets to the match between Vasco and Atlético Mineiro—one for myself and one for a friend. My friend later posted a photo of the tickets on Instagram, ensuring that Dimitri Payet’s name did not appear. But when Dimitri saw it, he became furious," Larissa explained.
She said Payet’s anger quickly escalated into verbal abuse and psychological intimidation. "It was the first time he seriously insulted me and used emotional pressure," she said. "From that day, he began to speak about punishment because I had 'disappointed' him. That’s when I began to feel emotionally manipulated and violated."
Escalating Physical Abuse
Larissa recounted how the emotional abuse soon turned physical. "During sex, he would hit me, step on my face and body. I was afraid to resist because I thought refusing the punishment would mean losing him," she admitted.
She said she submitted to the acts out of fear and emotional coercion, feeling trapped in a cycle of violence where any protest or rejection could provoke further aggression or abandonment.
Larissa described the relationship as increasingly abusive, stating that Payet used emotional blackmail, exploiting her vulnerabilities for his own gratification.

Larissa revealed that she suffers from borderline personality disorder (BPD), a mental health condition characterized by intense emotional swings, fear of abandonment, and hypersensitivity in relationships. She claimed that Payet was aware of her condition and manipulated her accordingly.
"He knew I had borderline personality disorder, and he took advantage of it to control me emotionally," she said.
According to police reports, the most severe episodes of abuse occurred between January 25 and February 6, 2025.

Among the most horrific allegations, Larissa stated that Payet forced her into extremely degrading acts. "Dimitri convinced me to put my head inside a rubbish bin and a toilet, and made me drink my own urine," she testified. "There were other bizarre sexual acts he pressured me into."

The Beginning of Their Relationship
Larissa explained that her relationship with Payet began on social media. They first connected via Instagram, later moving their conversations to WhatsApp. Soon after, they started meeting in person.
Despite being a lifelong fan of Vasco da Gama, Larissa said the experience turned into a nightmare. "At first, it felt like a dream to meet someone I admired. But the relationship quickly became something dark and damaging," she said.

Following the alleged abuse, Larissa has fled Rio de Janeiro and is now undergoing psychological and psychiatric treatment to recover from the trauma. She revealed that she is currently on medication to help her cope.
Speaking to local media, Larissa said her decision to come forward was motivated by a desire to help other women who might be facing similar situations.
"My goal in sharing my story is to give strength to other women who are suffering in silence. No woman should feel trapped or ashamed. Abuse is never acceptable, no matter who the abuser is," she said.
