Vice President Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang sought medical attention at the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC) after experiencing a sudden illness on Friday, March 28, 2025.
In a statement issued on Sunday, March 30, 2025, the Presidency’s Communications Directorate confirmed that she visited UGMC on Saturday following the unexpected health issue.
The statement, signed by Felix Kwakye Ofosu, Member of Parliament and Minister for Government Communications, noted that medical specialists have recommended further treatment abroad to ensure her complete recovery.
