The UEW CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average) Calculator works based on a standard GPA system where each course is assigned a grade point based on the score you obtained. Your CGPA is the weighted average of all your semester GPAs over time.
How to Calculate CGPA at UEW:
-
Determine the Grade Points (GP) for Each Course:
-
Each letter grade (A, B+, B, etc.) has a corresponding grade point (e.g., A = 4.0, B+ = 3.5).
-
-
Multiply by Credit Hours:
-
Each course has a credit weight (e.g., 3 credit hours). Multiply the grade point by the credit hours.
-
-
Find the Semester GPA:
-
Add up all (Grade Points × Credit Hours) for the semester.
-
Divide by the Total Credit Hours for that semester.
-
-
Calculate the CGPA:
-
Add up the Total Grade Points Earned across all semesters.
-
Divide by the Total Credit Hours Taken.
